Can you return unopened games bought at another store to Walmart for store Credit?

from what I understand you can. the bar code for a game is the same no matter what store it comes from btw.

Trying to take advantage of this Target Buy 2 Get 1 free deal. $180 store credit for $120 is hard to pass up. Doing all 3 at the same time aint pushing it right
no. You used to be able to return anything to Walmart. But that's not the case anymore, they've stopped at that. At least the ones around my way.
Far as I know, they'll tell you you can exchange it for the same product, or they'll give you aa super low amount of store credit

It's there current policy that they will give you store credit for unopened items without a receipt. My only question really is if they will know it's from Target or not.
Probably depends on the clerk. I tried to exchange a 12 month Live card at a Target near me and they wouldn't do it, drove a mile and a half back toward my house to another one on my way home and did it there with no problems.
the barcode has to match an item they sell at walmart. that way they know how much to give you. and I think you can only return 3 items a year without a receipt

Props to my coli brehs for the info. Bought 3 PS4 games at Target for $124 and got $196 in store credit from Walmart. Just made sure I went to the hood Walmart. They asked for my drivers license and the clerk had to get managers approval. Bring on the Black Friday PS4 Bundle
Them nikkas ain't let me do that at my Walmart. I went there with two fresh copies of COD Ghosts for XB1 and they told me some bullshyt.

Was it a white Walmart or a hood one? I know generally the hood walmarts aint giving a fukk about stuff like this.

I can't remember exactly but they was giving me the run around. The games were unopened and I kept telling him that I heard you can return for credit and the guy said something to the effect of each store is different or whatnot. I just said fukk it and left.
