Slavery as an institution in the Americas was chattel based and race based. Created by Europeans. First the Iberians like Portugal and Spain, followed by the West.

To put things in contrast I will post this along:

It was the Haitian revolution that ended slavery and gave amnesty to former enslaved Africans and the oppressed in general. Btw, did I mention that Candace is f'd up in the head? Oh, and Sclavus comes from Byzantine Greek sklabos (pronounced sklävōs) "Slav" hence "slave".

"One of the first was the celebration of Haiti becoming the first Black republic in the Americas on January 1, 1804, after the Haitian Revolution. But one of the earliest freedom celebrations connected to slavery in United States began after the ending of the transatlantic slave trade on January 1, 1808."
The Meaning of Juneteenth

"The Haitian Revolution has often been described as the largest and most successful slave rebellionin the Western Hemisphere. Slaves initiated the rebellion in 1791 and by 1803 they had succeeded in ending not just slavery but French control over the colony."

At this point this bedwench c00n babble is becoming dangerous.

Slavery was not created by black men and Muslims. But it was practiced by them even before the TAST. But slavery on the continent and slavery in the Americas were 2 very different things. It was not nearly as brutal or permanent as it was in the Americas. She's purposefully conflating two different things to give colonizers an out. It's not just ignorant, but outright disgusting.

I dunno. Slavery was a choice is pretty fukked up if not as fukked up. Especially in the context it was said in.
No, this is worse. Many slave rebellions took place so it was utter nonsense and plain dumb, but this is an attempt to create a complete falsified history. This bedwench trick doesn't understand the simplest of simple things. The Middle Passage created the new world as we know it to day.

Indeed. Slavery on the continent was based on indentured servitude. This is one step away from feudalism. Trans Atlantic slavery was based on the dehumanization of one group of people in particularly. These people they called the negroe. This is what they started to call us, after we were known as Ethiopians and Moors.

Any information you have on African slavery pre TAST slavery would be appreciated.
