At the end of the day PBC needs canelo more than canelo needs them. And their 40 mil guarantee offer proves that. Haymon didn't even give that to fury and Wilder for their rematch. That's cause they know how much value canelo brings to their brand.
If they offered him 40 mil it's cause they know he's worth much more. As of now PBC is just bleeding money with guys like Caleb plant. They're not making any money off this dude. He's a nobody. PBC barely makes money off any of their fights. Even the big ones. They NEED a superstar like canelo to bring some life back to their network. Especially with Pac on his way out and wilders stock dropping. This fight will be sold 100% off the back of canelo. So it's only right he still gets a high guarantee if plant goes down. Maybe not the full salary but still substantial. And of course you put the fight on hold if canelo gets injured. That's just common sense. Who the fukk wants to watch Caleb plant without canelo

yea, the fact Canelo is willing to lose out on a career guarantee for what's essentially a tune up level fight for him shows his attitude is get down or lay down when it comes to his demands.
