Honestly, its the fukking BEATS...the BEATS the beats the beats the beats are just HORRIBLE 9 times outta 10

Production has carried many successful-but-not-so-nice MCs through the golden-age well into our current era

Bis cant pick beats to save his soul, man :snoop:

Its always some wonky generic VST-made gabbage, or dull hollow-sounding eery Sci-Fi "bangers"....whenever Bis gets smooth, melodic laid-back tracks that allow him to go off on tangents, it makes for great music :mindblown:

I really think the RtJ route was the best he could do in terms of album making...just spit accapellas and let the producer mold the song/beats/album.

...but some say RtJ was boring/wack...so may be he's a lost cause...

This joint was cool...but it may just be the 'Bis stan in me...I've given him lots of passes, that I would have other wise called wack if it were from some other rapper

Let's be reality, had Canibus won the battle no one would have felt this song anyway, there are like 5 Canibus fans on here counting myself. That being said, it's just an ok song, the rhymes are good but Bis' production team is azz.

Had some pretty good production.
There were tracks with horrid features and some true misses (terrible beats :sadcam:) but the good tracks were GOOD and the great tracks were glimpses of how brilliant Canibus can be.

Canibus has already done what he's going to be remembered for. When he focuses his bars are genius. shyt like 33 3s, Poet Laurette II, 100 Bars, 2nd Round KO, all his features (that shyt from Black Trash was flawless), and especially his duets with legends like G Rap and Rakim.

Now he's doing exactly what any true MC does. He writes. He records. I've stopped following new music period but his classic shyt is timeless so I will give it burn.

nikka is plain old wack lately. Sort of hard to understand how.

He's acting like he got Etered or a nikka hit him w/ some Loaded Lux work but he played his own self in that battle

Melatonin Magik was dope and C of Tranqulity had some gem but people here made fun of Stoupes production process in terms of Rip the Jacker but I think that is how you have to produce for Bis, dudes lyrics and rhymes make producers have to adapt to him not the other way around.
