Always good to hear Canibus from this era. This sounds like he recorded this before How We Roll. Interesting to hear where the hook from that song came from.

The picture from that screenshot is from the XXL magazine in which Canibus gave an interview. It was the 5th issue. In that issue, they discussed a partner he had who was equally as ill as Canibus named Webb. They were a duo named THEM(the heralds of extreme metaphors). For years everyone wanted to hear their songs and how ill Webb was. So when the Lyrical Law double album dropped, they included a demo tape of THEM(you can find it online) in 2011. Webb was a bad mf too and those songs were from the era of which this song was. A lot of the songs on the demo had lyrics he used on his debut.
