Canibus is such an underrated lyricist still.
the dude has been devolving musically since he came out. he used to be able to spit some bars on a banger and still make underground records. he hasn't had any sort of versatility since the early 2000's. a lot of the people the underground jocks as lyricists are one trick pony status. Highly specialized at one thing but lacking everywhere else.
Nikkaz write bars not songs.
I think Canibus hasn't really devolved a much as it is for some reason he can't really link up with good producers on a consistent basis.
My dude, when you are supposed to the "greatest mind of all time since Einstein" and you pull out notepads during rap battles..issa wrap
Even the greatest of all time have lost their fair share of battles but yea that was a bad one, Canibus didn't prepare.
I dont think he understood the new battle platform.
Somebody should had told him..
These cats do homework on their opponents THEN they make up punchlines..
Its battle rap..not freestyle off the dome battle rap..
The song is fire. fukk the haters. The entire ep is flames.
i can almost guarantee 100% that this poster is Canibus
This may be the worst song he’s ever done. Which seems impossible since he only makes bad music but this is next level trash.
What's up with this dude's obsession with naming his albums after dollar store science fiction novels
Dude needs Stoupe and Irv Gotti like a hole in the head.
Its funny how no one ever brings up Masta Ace loosing that battle to Boogeyman. Boogeyman went on Hot 97 boasting talking about "we taped it so u can see his pain." Right after that battle Ace dropped Long Hot Summer and it was as if all was forgotten.
Canibus's career would be completely different and I'm convinced he would still be semi-relevant even in 2019 if he for once in his goddamned life pick some dope production to rhyme over.
How the fukk is it that so many of these acclaimed lyricists who are walking hip-hop historians and fans of the culture themselves have such shytty ears for the backdrop to their ideas?
For Whom The Beat Tolls
C Of Tranquility
All these albums had top quality production.
Domingo produced most of the ep, so you can fall back about production. Make up is one of the deepest/realest tracks bus has ever wrote. Imo this ep is some of his best work.
