Deep Down, Capcom's New PS4 Title, Is an Online Game

First revealed earlier this year at the PS4 reveal, Deep Down is being developed as an online game. Its keypoint is "dungeon", so it sounds like this one will be a dungeon crawler. It was revealed at Capcom's Network Game Conference and expected at this year's Tokyo Game Show, where it will have a full playable demo.

I was hyped at the first trailer. But seeing this trailer with the downgraded visuals and knowing its some type of mmo has killed a lot of my hype.

I was looking forward to a next gen dragons dogma. This looks like it will be more like monster hunter

Deep Down, The Division, Titan Fall, Sunset OverDrive, The Elder Scrolls Online, The Crew, Destiny, DriveClub (technically it does have SP), & etc. There is a clear effort to get people to game online through AAA titles.

Yeah I know. "Always online" is the future.

But in my opinion all those other games benefit by being online, maybe deep down will too, but at the moment I'm disapointed cause i thought this would be my next gen dragons dogma/dark souls fix.

The downgrade in graphics and the fact that its being handled by capcom online games is concerning but we will see.
