A lot of them surrender, especially the ones with manifestos. I’m not saying they don’t have more empathy for their own, but you do need to question them to see what the motivation was, and if they acted alone.

This isn’t a pragmatic response, it’s a very naive one, that excuses the behavior of white cops. The FBI is aware of the vast majority of white domestic terrorist cells and potential ones. They are took alive simply because they are seen as people by their people even after committing unimaginable atrocities.
