I think Solid Snake would take it, with his basic armament. His handguns, rifles, nightvision, heatvision and shyt. Plus his stealth skills would eventually bring Captain America down if he takes his time and make every move count.

Captain America is a good tactician and has super soldier strength but Solid Snake has already faced the likes of Vamp and other crazy motherfukkers like Grey Fox so he'd take it.

Solid Snake can take a full on rocket launcher to the body, multiple time.s He doesnt need a shield to block it. He gets blasted, does a flip, and gets back up. Worst case scenario, he eats some rations and hes ready to take more rockets to the body. Captain America cant fukk with that.
