Car Beginner Trying to Buy a car

Trying to get my first car and I don't really know much about them. Price range is looking around 2800-3100 (broke boy fresh out of school smh) . Live on East Coast so snow to deal with, but I'm trying to move to the West Coast in the next few years or so. Guess I'm asking

- What car brand would you recommend
- Should I save more?
- What's a good price for your first car
- Any recommendations on a good starter car?


An aside...was curious in a Bimmer. If you have one, let me know what you think of them.

im arund the same age as u, depends ultimately what your goal is...

* u wanna stunt... i would get a bank draft
* just need a whip: i would get a camry for sure, you can get a 02-03. real dependable. if u go down this road, i would try to get a grand more for the selling fees

Get a maxima like 01-03

I'd recommend Toyota, Ford, Suburu at around the 2003-2007 model year in that price range.

Check cargurus.com to see what's available in the price range you can swing. Then narrow down based on your location and interest(fun car, economy, etc).
