I never rented a car outside of an insurance claim.


Can I reserve a specific car or do I have to get what whatever is available at the moment?

The cars are divided by class, you can choose what class you want and if you have a specific car they rent in mind you can ask for it. I recommend enterprise rent a car and get a Chevy Cruz if you can

A few things that might fuc ya plans up (no hate just warning you)

-If u under 25 they gonna limit what you can rent and tax the fuc out u

-U may be required to have a credit card with at least like 200-500 balance available for them to put a hold on, u get the money back when you return the car (still don't understand that but whatever)

My advice though would be to call around to the spots that aren't national chains in your city and see what you can pull off. For instance it's a spot in bmore that let's you rent challengers and chargers and shyt like that for a decent price with limited hassles

Try Hertz. If you got an airport close by they usually have a bunch of nice cars to choose from. Go ahead and sign up for Gold Plus Membership for the discounts. No matter who you go with try to find a coupon code and get discounts

At the Infiniti/Mercedes Benz Dealership here in Birmingham, they had a Enterprise Kiosk there and you could rent Infiniti's and Mercedes Benzes. I rented a Infiniti at the time since that was what my soon to be wife was looking to buy. You can check some of the dealerships in your area to see what they have to offer.

Most rental places, you can reserve a particular kind of vehicle, economy car, intermediate-size car, full size car, minivan, truck, or van. Some rental places with higher end cars let you reserve a specific vehicle in their fleet, 2014 Mercedes Benz S500 in black.

When my cousin went to Hawaii for his birthday last month, he was able to rent a Camaro SS Droptop. I don't know what rental company he used but he was taking pictures in it.

AVIS has those convertible Camaro SS's on the regular. I get either the convertible or hard top SS when i go on travel. Just talk to the right attendant, you probably can get a pretty good rate on it if no one has reserved them...
