I think camels were introduced earlier due to the Arabs' trading with Egypt. We already know camels were domesticated in the Arabian Peninsula about 4000 BCE. We also know Arabs traded with Egypt either by crossing the Red Sea or traversing the desert north through the Levant. We also know that Egypt had domesticated camels by 2200 BCE. What we don't know is whether Abraham really existed and, if so, when he lived.

The find doesn't contradict anything especially since the first camels mentioned in Genesis were owned by the Pharaoh of Egypt who presented them as a gift to Abraham.
