i've heard this is the issue from someone i know and trust. the last rolling stone cover was supposed to signal she was starting the rollout. cardi is is the one holding everything up. what i also heard is that while some of the singles have done well, she hasn't been entirely confidant about what she has in her bag this go round. at least in the past.

She’s waited way too long. Her huge success gave her the ability to bypass label rules, and it’s pretty much guaranteed this album is gonna be some bullshyt.
