This is what separates Drake from other artists. 
Calculated moves. The ghostwriting stuff on him is muuuuuuch worse but his team waited until all the talk calmed down, formulated a plan, then addressed it in a controlled environment. Was the interview and his answers bullshyt? Sure, but it could have been a lot worse.

Rec Center around the way had an Easter egg hunt for the kids yesterday. At one point some chick started playing a bunch of Cardi B songs. All the pre teens and teen girls knew all the lyrics..wether it was Bodak, or Bartier or Finesse.....these girls knew these songs word for word.
None of those girls were talking about anything u are saying now.

I've gone on record in saying most music fans dont care who wrote these tracks and just want to hear good music. However, all these artists care how they're perceived by fans. That's why Cardi decided to address the situation like this and why Drake was in his feelings when people were giving The Weeknd props for Take Care on IG a few months ago.
So you might not care, those kids might not care, but someone does and that person is Cardi. She can also hold that L for bringing more attention to the situation.
