I don't care how people work their relationships but they need to be realistic. In most scenarios, I would say both the man and woman NEED to work in order to live decently. Who the hell wants to struggle for the sake of having a "traditional" relationship?

Where im from and in most other cultures and communities, if you get a chick that has money you pretty much won the jackpot. Your homeys be dapping you all your family will be proud of you and sh!t . If she or her daddy got money you are set for life. One of my former neighbors back in the naighborhood in Haiti's son just married a chick who's dad owns a chain of hotels. His parent threw a 3 day party celebrating down in Miami. I passed out by the pool celebrating with my boy.

But some of you clowns fear not being the one in control of the financials in your home. Thats because you tend to marry women YOU dont trust in the first place but she fine and got a big ass so you're good.

When someone says IT i think of Windows and local Domain support desk guys and low-level system admins who do simple create/modify/delete user tasks and so on.

That is not what i do. Im more on the Electrical engineering technology (my major) side of the spectrum than i am "IT"

But i see what you're saying tho to the "layman " anything that has to do with technology is "IT" and i get it. But rest assured that the same job i am doing i have a former classmate of mine doing it in Philadelphia for $130K a year plus he got a signing bonus AND they paid for him to move with his family.

I don't think its "fear of empowered women" we black men have, I think its "disdain" to the fact that the women we are bonded with are empowered to overthrow us as head of the family unit as well as belittled socially. You have to look at what the root of the problem is breh and I'm going to play the race card on this. The black man used to be the sole provider and head of household within a family unit. A basic rule of war is to cut off the head and the body dies, this is what the white man knows and has been doing systematically for years in order to destroy (fukking devils). Because these women are empowered (especially in this country) you will see women take on a different respect for their men or lack there of. You have laws specially geared to destroying a man in the courts, there are whole government departments and political movements masked to say they are helping but it does the reverse. Its a lot deeper than you think.

Not siding with the OP at all, but the point was women who work and try to get money through career climbing and feminism. A woman who has a family with money isn't doing any of that, or has to struggle at all. I think the point is the wanting to be dominant, not that she has money. You can still be a housewife with a rich family right?

Do you want a woman who is a housewife? Do you want a woman who is submissive?

Okay fine. Now look at it from a woman's perspective perhaps. Im no expert but id like to believe that a woman would rather not have to depend on a man for her financial well being? Is this what you wish on your daughter, perhaps?

Personally i guess I dont like the housewives concept. WHY you ask? Because i feel like if said man was to leave them and all the sudden they find themselves in a situation where they dont have the skills for the job market and they are screwed. Which leads to more resentment towards the men that left them.

MY SOLUTION: STAND ON YOUR OWN TWO FEET. Dont depend on noone.

Maybe im braiwashed but as a child this was drilled into my head (mine and my sisters) growing up. #1 Dont marry anyone thats not in your social class or above #2 Never depend on anyone #3 Noone, other than your parents owe you sh!t in life. Not even a "good morning"
