Carmelo admits there are times he says '(Bleep) New York'

The New York Knicks star, in a video for VICE Sports (here, NSFW), admitted that even the most loyal New Yorker can be left soured by living in the big city. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love the town by any stretch.
“New York is the greatest city on the planet,’’ said the Brooklyn native, via the New York Post. “But you’re not a New Yorker if you don’t wake up in the morning and sometimes say [bleep] this place. I don’t care who you are — the mayor, governor, all the way down to the mailman. Everybody wakes up some days: ‘Hey, [bleep] New York.'”
Anthony of course loves New York and his point probably resonates with many who call New York home, so odds are he won’t be overly criticized for his comments. But given his love-hate relationship with Knicks fans — some with whom he engages in snarky social media battlesfrom time to time — there will be some who will take great offense to his thoughts.
In any event, Anthony seemingly is trying to say and do all the right things heading into the Knicks’ 2015-16 regular season campaign, including making the argument that he is a good team leader as well as scoffing at the notion of one website’s prediction the team will only win 27 games. His latest commentary on the life of a New Yorker, though, likely won’t ingratiate him to his harshest critics in the town.
