No. I'm merely being objective about the two. Love had a better season. Do I think Love was 2nd team all NBA? That's up for debate, but not the comparison to Melo this past season.

Do you really believe Melo should've been left off altogether though? I have never been a Melo fan, I'm completely objective about that dude. But he put up 28-8-3 on 45 and 40% when every single night opponents knew his PG was fat and couldn't hit shots, his SG was hobbled and stupid, his C was hobbled and has no offense anyway, and everyone keyed on him. It's borderline criminal that Melo got played out. For whatever his faults may be, the man is an offensive savant.

This is an important point. The level of details that these non-athlete cacs go into judging an athlete and his "stats" is on some dehumanizing, slave auction in New Orleans level of modern white supremacy.

Melo was not better than Love this season.Anthony had all career high stats aside from ppg.Granted he should of made the playoffs in the East, Amare is a shell of himself,JR Smith is not a 2nd option on a playoff squad and Chandler is a top Defensive center etc.Love is a top 5 pf,but dude hasnt been to the playoffs in his career whereas Guys in his class(Rose and Russy have been)and Pfs like Aldridge,Blake have been and been elite during their series.Oh and this is Melos first year ever missing the playoffs.Miss me with all this media narrative bullshyt.
