This came out of nowhere for me, since I never heard of Carmine. Hes Mannie Freshs latest signee. Nothing Good is a 10-track sampler to get familiar. I pressed play without expectations and was pleasantly surprised. One of my favorites is Feeling Good, which contains an early Kanye-esque chorus and a smooth production. The production on the tape overall is great. Do yourself a favor and stream/download the tape here.
This project isnt going to make Common change his name back to Common Sense. Its not going to make A Tribe Called Quest release a sequel to Midnight Marauders. shyt, it wont even include a transparent baby picture of Nasir Jones on the cover. This is simply a reminder to have a good time. Even when theres Nothing Good at the moment.
