Personally i believe he was forced to resign or be fired... Someone at EA probably thought he would fukk up the new mass effect trilogy i guess and couldnt take the risk... i wanted to punch this smug b*stard ever since the end of ME3... mac walters should be next bring back drew kapsheryn... have him write the story for the next mass effect. it was essentially his anyways!
