With Ja Rule making a comeback, I think it’s time to revisit where he came from. One could revisit his first three albums or some of his commercial singles, but why not start at the beginning. Since 1993, long before his solo debut, Ja was part of the Cash Money Click (not to be confused with Cash Money Records). The group came up on the success of Mic Geronimo features and in 2006 this single with Jay-Z & DMX dropped. Ja started working with Hov (Kill ‘Em All, Can I Get A, Murdergram, Holla Holla) & DMX (Time To Build, Grand Finale, Murdergram, It’s Murda) quite a bit after, which is why this song played a crucial part in Ja’s career if you ask me.
