Cass was one of the best pure spitters I've ever heard
throw on an instrumental and he would go to work
I feel like alot of these early 2000s rappers would have been better suited for the 90s where lyricism was more appreciated.
in 2018 someone with his skill level is equivalent to someone whose really good at hopscotch, people don't want that anymore, they just want bass beats, mumbles and turn up music
and because of that, any effort you're putting into your rhymes is ultimately meaningless
