Catset has really been winning me over for the last year. 
Cats were treasured by Egyptians in part because of their ability to fight Snakes. Imagine how real of a danger Snakes were to ancient Egyptians. Having house cats to guard your residence could very literally save your life back then. 
Freh even gave him the chance to be peaceful
