No they not trading him because of Wiggins. They are trading because they signed Kyrie to that extension. I'm sure one of the conditions were for Waters to be dealt with

Wiggins could be an absolute nightmare matchup if he can develop as a two guard, he'd be 6'9" at a position that is right around 6'3".


If they trade Waiters they need to get back a big man.
