Yeah, but this was before fat acceptance. Can you imagine a video with her singing I Got The Power? It wouldn’t have had the same appeal. Look at Mili Vanili. Two black male models was more palatable than 3 folks who looked like they serve dinners at the church cookout. Latto wouldn’t have made it in the 90s. It’s unfortunate, but that’s how it was back then.
