Cell Saga Expectations

The Android/Cell Saga,
Was the best saga to me,
Never really cared for the Buu Saga.

If you watch DBZ from the beginning it's obvious they were setting Gohan up to eventually take over from Goku. I was more disappointed when they through all of Gohan's development into the bushes just to bring Goku back.

frieza saga was the peak of the series
the power levels got way inconsistent, and the story got too wacky, even though thats apart of the franchise,
it went too out of control

Andriod Cell saga was cool for the fact that it brought back the first enemy of Goku who were semi serious but more clowns. The androids made the red ribbon army something to fear. Also the twist that Goku never really saw any of the real androids that were specifically built to kill him. And it should have ended with Gohan taking over his fathers legacy of earths protector.


But I liked the Buu saga. Gotenks is cool. Buu was a pure evil villain for the sake of evil. I think that makes him more dangerous. He had nothing to lose.

Maybe offtopic nut is anyone checking for that new Rock the Dragon box set thats coming out next week. It contains the first 53 eps for 59.99 at Righstuf and is supposed to be very faithful to the original tv airings when it was first shown in America. Should be a cool nostalgia tip, but I'm wondering if I should buy it when I already got the first 3 orange brick dvd sets.
