Probably. Since the post Bird years there havent been many people dying to play for them. The drafted Reggie Lewis who was great but died. Drafted Paul Pierce and Walker and that worked for a while. Ainge had to get a favor from his boy MaHale to get KG there when most people thought KG would go to the Bulls or the Heat at the time

im pretty sure Boston can get a free agent its a top city in this country. its very diverse except in the suburbs but who wants to live in suburbs anyway? tons of things to do here....not one of those sprawl cities its unique.

ive never been to Seattle it seems nice but i would imagine Boston would attract free agents before Seattle from what research i have done Boston shyts on Seattle in most catagories
other than LA,NYC,Chicago and Miami there really isnt any city that offers more
