John Cena To Face CM Punk Next Week, Opening Segment For Raw 1000, SD Rating

John Cena announced at the conclusion of Monday's Raw SuperShow his intention to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on next week's historic show. Therefore, Cena will challenge CM Punk for the WWE Championship.
Via Twitter, Punk vowed to make history on the program: "Next week I make history. @JohnCena will be the first person to cash in his MITB contract and lose. Big match. Can't wait."
- WWE broadcaster Michael Cole announced on Monday's Raw SuperShow that the reunion of D-Generation X with Shawn Michaels and Triple H will kick off next week's historic three-hour program at 8:00 p.m.
- The July 13, 2012 episode of WWE SmackDown scored a 1.82 cable rating, with 2,501,000 viewers.
The episode was up from 1.70 for the previous week's live Tuesday broadcast. Friday's show drew the same rating as the last first-run Friday episode on June 29.
