So this all falls on Cena or ??
Yes, because we've seen big AJ matches for 15 years, and we all know damn well that's not his formula.
The Roman matches were better than the Cena matches. The only difference in the WWE, there is no atmosphere like a big Cena match, as no matter what the WWE pretends to say, they matter the most of any match on the card.
But starting with Twice In a Lifetime, Cena has just been relying on that, Angle level kickout spam, and the US title run added the new fold of random weird indy offense almost out of spite. The Cena of 07-12 >>>>>>>>>>>>>> the Cena of now. He's had an almost eerily similar falloff to Kurt, except his peak was longer.
