Lessen the military land presence globally(military bases in non hot zones), still maintain the largest presence on the oceans.

Stop all no-bid gov't contracts given to the military industrial complex (decentralize the monetary gains in the Military)

Have the Gov't stop guaranteeing student loans, this is one of the reasons why education has become so expensive. Colleges have gone insane with the prices because all students can get guaranteed loans, and even if the student later defaults/bankruptcy the Institution still gets the money

End crony capitalism. ex) Bill Clinton pardons Marc Rich (Glencore) ---> Hillary clinton's run for senate in NY in part financed by Denise Rich the wife of multi-billionaire (100k to the Senate campaign, 400k to the Clinton Library, 1million to the DNC and $10,000 to Bills Defence fund)

What ya'll think of ron paul? One of the few people in politics that I think genuinely wanted to improve things, shame nothing ever came of it. #AuditTheFED

I heard he had a racist publication back in the day. So maybe not so shameful. Although I had above average hopes for Rand Paul. He was actually doing some real outreach to the black community. He even rejected the idea of Israel getting foreign aid money. To be fair, he rejected the entirety of the idea of foreign aid but he didn't make any exceptions for Israel. Unfortunately, he wanted to run for President, needed money, got Jewish backers, and flipped his whole script. :francis:

Democrats to actually be liberals instead of 'not as conservative as the republican party but still conservative' dems.
Republicans to actually be for smaller gov't/fiscal responsibility (yea it can done correctly) instead of hypocrites with every action they do.
Getting private money outta gov't, period.

the black cat is my crown...
hmm... what do i want....? steady progress, i guess...

i don't like the ideologues on either side... although i especially despise the ideologues on the right, since i'm left leaning.... i don't like when people have an ideology that they think is 100% correct in every circumstance and cannot be improved one iota and that the other side is 100% wrong on everything....... there needs to be some flexibility in problem solving... also, i don't like the simple answers that are supposed to solve every single problem (i.e.: conservatives think the answer to every problem is a tax cut, liberals think the solution to every problem is an increased tax on the rich... what if the problem has nothing to do with taxes...?)....

i am centrist, but currently i think the government is far right.. it may take some far leftists to bring us back to the center.... i can get with that.... but i'm a consensus builder, even though you can't really build consensus with the right... note, i'm not centrist on every issue, but for the most part i'm middle of the road....

Its wild that this was enough to get a conservative candidate against the drug war, against funding Israel, against world policing, against military spending, truly fiscally conservative, and left of Dems on nearly every social issue railroaded...

Now we have Trump in office... an actual Nazi and un-indicted co-conspirator .:deadmanny:

Americans, blacks in particular were short sighted. IMHO

Left of nearly every Dem issue? :jbhmm: This is the first time I'm hearing of this.

As a centrist/moderate I was for simply equal access, equal opportunity, and equal and consistently applied justice under the law. Now as a person who leans Progressive, I'm also for raising the quality of life and keeping people from having to be modern day peasants for services they should already have access to, especially in the richest (if not 2nd or 3rd) country in the history of the world.
