Dude blew up quick and when it was time to drop that 2nd album he goes on 106 And Park and releases the video for the song that would end his career as a rapper "Hip Hop Police"

Dude failed to realize his target audience are TEENAGERS and drops a song they can't even dance to or relate to...

THIS WAS HIS LEAD OFF SINGLE!!!!!

FEATURING SLICK RICK IN THE VIDEO someone they don't even know of...

They played the video and when they went back in studio the hosts told him it was HOT and thats when I realize they are robots prepared to follow a script, I looked at Chamillionaire's face and I knew it would be the last time he'd ever be seen on 106 And Park...

i wish the mainstream coulda saw swishahouse/color changin click era Chamillionaire (and Paul for that matter). I get that he wanted to add more substance to his music but he completely lost everything that made him dope by the time Sound of Revenge dropped. Its like he got super corny overnight. The other single with Snoop and Busta :scust:

because he used to freestyle over instrumentals, i didnt realize how terrible his ear for beats was. Its like he was so intent on being substantive that he forgot how to just make jams. You can get your message across, but make sure it knock

:yeshrug: Tried to double up on that Ridin' Dirty money.

I agree but for that type of song he shouldn't have doubled up.

He got lucky with ridin dirty.

Hip hop police is dope as fukk but not a good idea. Should have been the street single. If it would have gained steam then ride the wave, but he should have released something else first.

Funny thing is he doesn't drink,do drugs or swear(supposedly). The only reason the hip hop police didn't get him as well.

Smart like fifty although I feel Cham is sincere about his no drug shyt since he comes from a religious family.

Either way though that's how I would be if I was a rap star. Pretend you don't do that shyt while in the back room your Rollin blunts and sniffin lines. Fif is a liar though that dude was totally busted sniffing lines before

Hip Hop Police and that corny ass News video he did was the nail in his coffin

he went out of his way to say he wasnt swearing in songs but would still say "eff" and "ish" all over songs on purpose..just stop swearing, dont edit yourself. shyt is corny.

Ultimate Victory grew on me over time, but it just isnt fukking with Sound of Revenge and all the shyt before it. Cham lost his edge.

You know he performed it on 106 and Park later, right?
