I was shocked to see Champion back in rotation, we never rocked the big label champion logo. You either had the cone head hoody(which I cant find anymore) or the sweatshirt with just the logo on it. Pull up to someone building and see 10 folks with cone heads under the pelles, didn't know what type of shyt you was walking in.

But it wasnt the big C on it, it was the smaller version. I really cant find the original Conehead/Pointy hoody anymore.

I remember when Champion used to be Payless Shoes / Burlington Coat factory level but then all of a sudden it's become a top brand among high schoolers & young adults. However it's mainly their hoodies, sweatpants & jackets that have become top sellers for the company. I don't see many people rocking the sneakers might be because as I said before it's Payless Shoes, Walmart & Target level.

Champion never been out of style.

Be for hip hop, they were the premier athletic clothing, remember NBA used to make their official jerseys from champion before opening up the licence. Reverse Weave has always and still is the most superior sweats. Then of course hip hop, but mostly blacks in general been rocking champion, cause it was affordable, we were always doing something athletic when we were young before the internet, and its just a staple like a pair of hanes or fruit of the loom is for underwear.

Supreme just helped to elevate champions profile as a fashion brand. But I would never wear it fashion wise (unless it was supreme). Just the basic reverse weave for me
