A lot of thecoli would probably like those versions better, hell I think they're great (better than any of the "gospel" on CB imo).
But they're way too happy imo, Famously is a nostalgic song imo so that verse and the beat under it just doesn't fit.
And while the Waves would be great for a CB type project its also too bright with Chance and doesn't lead into FML well, or have the tone Kanye wanted, switching to Chris Brown was a great decision.
