Then I never heard anything solid ever since, I still play that Tinashe 'all my friends' record. His verse was the icing on the cake.

Fired his agent because his agent told him not to put the album out and then tour with it (the album flopped and then the tour was cancelled due to low ticket sales)
Acted like "people wanted him to kill himself" because The Big Day was terrible (his words not mine)
Caught Liking trannies on twitter
Video of him grinding up on some random woman when he supposedly "loves his wife"
His constant "nice boy, self-righteous Christian" persona.

prolly forgetting something else, but all of this is self-inflicted. He turned off pretty much his entire fanbase. To answer your question, that's why people stopped messing with him. Hope this helps

I'm talking about the people who were never fans to begin with. They're usually the first and loudest ones commenting and they were doing so before he put out that album and had those personal issues.

If he keeps it concise with decent beats and good features, why not check it out? It's not like he can't rap, he just made some wonky creative choices after Acid Rap and said a LOT of goofy shyt. He was better off doing his charity work, keeping the posting to a minimum and focus on making a breakout debut album like Good Kid, Mad City. Instead we got Coloring Book, and then The New Day and that was it lol
