I remember Corey Holcomb talked about why he really step away. :ohhh: And now I get why he step away from the 50 million.

He was saying that Comedy Central gave him a large amount upfront. Because they wanted all the rights to the Chappelle's Show. Basically buying all the rights from him with the 50 million. Dave realized that he would make more money in the long run, if he keep all the rights to the Chappelle's Show.

He talked about this during his show this past weekend. Was pissed off that people called him crazy and said he didn't walk away from 50 million. Said he really wanted that shyt lol. He was irked.

That's whats up. Thats where the REAL money is - the masters, publishing, copyrights, etc. Back in the old days record companies would give black musicians a cadillac and a plate of ribs and they'd sign away everything but the kitchen sink. lol Little Richard just now got his shyt straight after years of "THEY AINT NEVER GAVE ME NOTHIN!!!" lol
