Disseminating false info under the guise of being balanced or placating to a certain audience is playing with fire that's going to come back and bite the country in a devastating way. Its how Trump got elected and it will be how America makes that final turn to fascism.

This is what people don't get about the whole "black people are conservative" trope.

Black people are ANTI-white supremacy. They're not "right wing conservative christian theocrats". BIG difference.

Black people are not even interested in voting for republicans, they're just frustrated. So when Charlamagne does this dumbass false equivalency bullshyt, he ignores the giant elephant in the room. Yes, democrats are imperfect. Like everything else. You know whats worse? REPUBLICANS.

They love asking "why do we vote democrat" without asking "oh this is what happens when you don't vote democrat"

I love how they act like Democrats don't get criticized left and right from their own base too. Eric Adams just claimed that Democrats are "too woke" just the other day and he's the mayor of America's biggest city.

They know damn well that Charlamagne and some other hip hop blogs have been peddling news stories, conspiracies, and propaganda that have been gaining ground in right wing/QAnon circles so I don't blame OP for bringing attention to it.

Many of these stories and theories have gotten debunked but haven't been called out or corrected on those platforms either.

I don't think they even fully understand the long term consequence of Trump's presidency (a conservative Supreme Court being one of them). I regularly hear peope still say Trump should be in office because he 'was good for the economy and gas prices". When I bring up issues like his impact on the Supreme Court the room goes silent from a lack of understanding. People are dumb. And fools like Charlamagne are dumb also (when it comes to politics at least) but just happen to have a large platform where he can lead other dumb people.
