The guy who shot up the Colorado club wasn't black. The guy who shot up the Pulse club wasn't black either. Gays and lesbians literally get lynched in broad day in the middle east and eastern Europe. The only black people that were really hateful like that towards them was Jamaicans back in the day. And that has calmed down dramatically in recent times.

There has been no group more accommodating to LGBTQ than Black Americans. We don't shoot, stab, lynch or stone them in our community like they do in the Middle East. Black Americans in Congress have overwhelmingly supported their rights. The people we vote into office by-and-large support LGBTQ rights.

At worst, we just clown and joke on them like we do to everyone else in our community. It ain't that serious.
