These idiots keep dwelling on the superstars.
The others act like European players in the league are automatically better than some Horace Grant type dude who did 4 years in college just because they played "professional" ball in Europe. Like that shyt means anything. How many European dudes even made the reserve team of the ASG this year? Or last year? Or the year before that? Or the year before that? We're 24 years past the Dream Team, breh. :sas1:

I'll reiterate because the coli has the reading comprehension of a gerbil on LSD: It's hard to quantify in measurable terms what a quality nba product looks like. So I'm not saying the league is any better or worse than it was 20 years ago.

But to sit here and point at the fukkin Golden State Warriors and Pau Gasol and say the league is better because it's more global and because some team set the wins record is some 8th grade logic.
You got clowns that demand specifics and measurables in every other thread but when it's their narrative it's some half assed nonsense.

Receipts, breh.

Yeah I won't even get into the whole Euro players thing, because regardless of whatever skill they do have they have to adapt to the way the game is played in the NBA. And imo it's mostly Euro bigs who do have some skills, but since the game has moved away from the post well it doesn't really matter. The game now is athleticism and shooting : American athletes have always been more athletic, and while Euros used to have somewhat of an advantage with shooting, that advantage just came from the fact that they shot more in Euro basketball. Now that US ball is about shooting too, well that "advantage" (which was never that big to begin with) vanished. Only advantage euro players might have is yeah they've been pros before coming to the NBA, so the transition on a personal level might be easier. But the fact that they are now living so far from home and have to adapt to a whole other culture might nullify that. There's a reason no Euro player has ever been rookie of the year, for example.

But yeah pointing at Euro players (I'm mixed African-European btw) as a sign of the league being "better" makes no sense whatsoever. It's ironic too because most brehs shyt on Euro players whenever they can:dead:

That game AI shot a low percentage, for the series he shot 40.7%.... :mjlol: and you talking about a slowing down?

Are we going to act like Kobe didnt hold AI scoreless in the second half of a game that season? He got hot once and shot 41% the rest of the series.. young Kobe on Steph would have been glorious to witness.

The nba today is very competitive. The Shaq and Kobe Era was weak as fukk. That LA team could not beat the Spurs, OKC or Warriors either.

There's a video of I think Dr. J on one of the pregame shows during the mid 90s shytting on them, calling it watered down.

shyt is cyclical at this point. Oldheads will always think their generation was the best and the next one ain't shyt
Dr. J Larry Bird and Magic Johnson all basically said that, givin props to the Bulls but pointin out the competition was weak.

You idiots stay posting a graphic from 7 games into a 16 game playoff run where Kobe's numbers got worse from that point on as if the whole site doesn't know this by now :mjlol: #WPOY2016
:umad:You idiots stay gettin butthurt over that graphic cause you know you can't refute it and the whole site knows it shuts down your argument since men lie women lie numbers don't.

So your reply is to post another graphic from before the playoffs ended since Kobe's numbers got worse after that again :mjlol:. You stay earning that badge
:duck:That graphic was from the finals dumbass he's playin against AI in that pic, those numbers from that second graphic were his playoff numbers up to that point which prove his numbers remained great thruout the Western Conference playoffs.

:ufdup:Here's his entire 2001 postseason numbers -

See what lebron did to GSW in the finals, Shaq would bulldoze his way to average 50 and 17 on these small ball teams:banderas:

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
2001 Lakers had two top 10 players of alltime, who could easily drop 40 any given night on a very efficient FG%.
Shaq and Kobe both averaged 29ppg that season.

They both made all defensive second team that year well.

And if u wanna talk about playoff totals.

Shaq in playoffs:
30,15,3apg, 2bpg, 55% FG

Kobe:
29ppg,7rpg,6apg, 47% FG
Fisher shooting 51% from the 3 :banderas:

You don't have to even go that deep with the stats. Who the fukk was gonna guard shaq? Green? :mjpls:
