All of this is true and he was my favorite rapper when he came out but the nikka is wild and hardly makes sense anymore. Music industry isn't for everyone I guess

He's the most talented dude to come into Hip Hop since Q-Tip.

and if you disagree, you don't fukkin' know rap.

Series Jones and rhymefest know rap better than you.
Getting served and being a bytch nikka are not talents.
You do not know rap at all.

:russ: Have you even listened to his music? No, you clearly haven't because if you did you'd know he's the most creative artist (nevermind Hip Hoppity ass rapper) that has touched the mainstream in at least a decade. The sheer volume of trash that has been outputted by him tarnishes the gems that he has dropped but when he's focused he's the greatest Hip Hop act ever. He produces, raps, plays piano, plays guitar, sings, everything and does them all unbelievably. You're also forgetting that he was signed to a major record label at 19 and given 3 million by Interscope when he signed, so some one out there with a lot more power than you thought differently.

Serious Jones will always be a bum ass rapper, I'm not taking away from the sonning he gave CH because he did and Charles was CLEARLY either on drugs or had been very recently before that battle. Does that battle sound like the decision of a man who's thinking straight? No.

His fall off is the greatest in the history of modern rap and he was always at the line of insanity but something happened to him, a mix of his naivety and young arrogance got ahead of him and he ruined his musical career, a long with his life. Can he be forgiven for that? No of course not, it was all self inflicted but I can understand how he managed to do it. Chief Keef whilst a lot less talented seems to be pulling the same sort of moves and ironically he's on the same record label.
Now I understand you have some sort of fukked up :flabbynsick: appearance to keep on this forum and aside from anything that dropped after '96 you're not going to listen to it but you cannot deny the talent of Charles, he would've been the biggest Hip Hop act since Kanye, he was Kendrick before Kendrick and was on the brink of bringing the East Coast back to relevance.

:ohlawd: Listening to this high though, you can tell by that flow he's freestyling the entire song.

:whew:

I don't like to hype people up, but I feel like charles, when it came to music was a genius. The potential for this dude was through the roof... He had everything from the struggle to skill. He was in the street's and a straight up nerd too.

I still listen to his joints to this day. Sometimes I forget Its a kid at 18-20 spitting some of the stuff that I still bump. Most of it is mad deep too.

To bad dude had no guidance or role models to lead him in the right direction. I still check for him here and there in hopes of a comeback.....

I hear you man, for a kid that young to be spitting the shyt he was, you knew he had his demons and issues to work on, a lot of it is deep. That's why I really like Charles, there was no one in that 09 freshman class like him, it just sucks because he had such an immense spark at his age, if only he had a good support system in place, Hip Hop could've have been different lol.

Charles was actually ahead of his time. If he came out in 2010 when that weirdo shyt was really taking off he'd be huge.
