CHARLES HAMILTON “The Pink Lavalamp” will be released on vinyl 4/1/18

Harlem rapper “Charles Hamilton” will re-release his debut studio album “The Pink Lavalamp” on 4-1-2018 on vinyl.

The album is to be considered an underground classic after it’s release on December 8 2008 while hamilton was signed to interscope records.

Hamilton released the project independently after disagreements with interscope records to put “brooklyn Girls” on the project.

The album also gained charles hamilton a cult following.

the was my next favorite era of music outside the 90s. Drake with that dusty pea coat, Cudi with MOTM Wale had just appeared. PS i saw Nate randomly at this underground rap showcase about 3 years ago. He looked like he was doing aight

damn this around the SOHH days and i think there was some CH boards too but this around the time he started saying he was dilla re encarnated or some shyt wild soon after Well Isnt This Awkward people started questioning the validity of his beats cuz he said he made em all from scratch. this before nikkas was really into sampling or knew what they was hearing cuz CH was really on some digging the crates shyt. Some of his samples didn't register for me till i id hear some wild rock band years later and be like . Shyt like that.It all came out cuz i think it was supposed to be an album but of course none of them samples could be cleared. im forgeting details of course this 2008 thats 10 years ago mayne. but thats the gist.
