I know how hard it is for brothers to get head coaching gigs. Their cac counterparts get thrown in the bushes all the time, so as a black man you have to play it smarter.

Texas was a bad choice. Texas isn't the Texas of yester year. Way to much recruiting competition with the same expectations of having to win now. He had no consistent winning track record as a head coach before he went there. He only had 2 winning seasons ever on his short resume. If not for Teddy Bridgewater, Strong would be Tyrone Willingham version 2.0. He picked the wrong school to go to and now he's about to be thrown in the bushes and coach at a school like New Mexico State or some shyt.

Texas is still a top 3 job, and do you know how rare it is for blacks to get opportunities at a top 10 job? Strong made the right choice, but it will take more than 3 years to fix the mess mack brown left behind. Its texas that has been greedy with the longhorn network and basically ruining the big 12. Its texas the ones who have unrealistic goals thinking they should be in the playoffs every year.

Strong won a sugar bowl, so i dont see the correlation to willingham at all.

I don't get this line of thinking. The entire conference didn't want a conference network. The entire conference wanted to create their own network. If Texas ruined it, OU, Nebraska, A&M did as well. Also, it's not that Strong is losing. It's the way he's losing. He's setting records and trends that no program will stand for. You at least want to see improvement and progress. But we've seen nothing like that. We've seen the team regress from year 1 to year 2 to year 3.
