Charlotte nightlife is ASS.
PERIOD.
And I’m coming from the 919/252 area .. I’m supposed to be all “impressed” and sh!t.. I mean I’m coming from clubs like Da Boatryde in Rocky Mount and Lynk in Raleigh, clubs where hoes get up in there throwing that ass turnt up everybody having a good time, but they’re just hole in the walls.
But Charlotte though? This shyt is DEAD AND WACK. Been to the White House nightclub twice, both times it was extremely BORING AND WACK. People literally pay just to walk in and stand around and look at the people who paid just to walk in and sit on the couches that have been inconveniently places in the MIDDLE of what should be the dance floor.
Went to CRYSTALS twice, didn’t go in either time. Both times I just sat in the parking lot checkin out the crowd going in as I always do with new clubs, and there was nothing but flabby 40 somethings going in. The second time I went and sat I was just about to get out the car and go in when I heard people coming back to their car like “..$20 to get in?? fukk that!”... yeah fukk that. I left.
Went by some other spot called “Fusion” I think? Same thing: nothing but 40+ year olds over dressed and looking sick walking in. I didn’t even bother to park.
This city is WAACK AAS FUUCK when it comes to nightlife. There is no Black night scene, like Raleigh Durham Chapel Hill rocky mount Wilson Greensboro and Goldsboro has. You can find decent Black lit clubs in each of those places.
Haven’t tried epicentre yet but that’s because I’m not into that ritzy pretend to be rich poser type atmosphere nikkas look like they carry to clubs down there. $40 entry fees and shyt just to stand around and watch VIP order bottles. fukk epicentre. Unless I’m wrong about how it is. But I doubt it. Highly doubt there’s even ONE Black club down there AND be lit not just a bunch of square rich c00ns standing around snap chatting.
The other sh!t like Onyx and them other sh!ts are all STRIP CLUBS, another LAME WACK thing that I don’t do. That’s for n!ggas who can’t get play in normal clubs.
I need normal clubs. And it makes me wanna throw up that a city this big and Black doesn’t have not ONE Black night spot worth going to.
I’ve been here 4 weekends now and for the last 2 of them I’ve been very tempted to drive back to Raleigh for the weekend JUST for the nightlife.

Where does the 18-25 yr old crowd party because it’s not at NONE of he spots I named. JCSU students hold this L for not having a go to Thursday night spot like EVERY OTHER HBCU IN THE WORLD
