i mean we're seeing R-Truth become Ron Killings at 50+. It's there if she wanted to do something new. There is pretty much nothing left for Charlotte's current character to do that people would care about.

She'd have to take an extended absence to pull it off.

If she wanted to there's a huge opportunity for her onscreen character to sort of have a break down emotionally/mentally and she kind of admits she's been "insecure" or whatever this whole time. It would give her a way out of her basic "Flair" character and do something new. And maybe she needs to lean into the emotions, because she clearly has a hard time hiding them.

Leaning into it would be too sporadic for live TV because you never know how it's going to hit her. Better for her to struggle and keep it under wraps than breakdown.
