you can add a system prompt to make it less formal.

doesn't work.

attention too short.

primary constraints.

LLM's are not my friends so I don't object to their speaking style.

shouldn't that be the opposite.

i let my friends talk in the manner that they want.

that's what friends are for ...

Expect AI to interact as a real human being brehz.......

an interesting maxim from some of the fathers of what you know as computing.

"A core principle of the Unix philosophy is that commands should be silent by default, only producing output when there is an error. This design choice is intended to facilitate building command pipelines where the output of one program can be easily used as the input for another without extraneous information. "

i expect certain output from them, for the same reason i use lowercase.

elegance: "Economy and elegance of design due to size constraints ("salvation through suffering")"

that aside it also complicates chaining, obfuscates errors and is consumer rather than formal-system driven.

I always read those complaints like a white person being mad at something that they cannot completely control.

I just let it do it's thing, has helped immensely.

if the attention span is too short then try having it append a speaking style reminder to the end of each of it's replies.

i use LLM's daily but i'm not a big chatgpt user. i've gone weeks and months without using chatgpt.

i said attention and primary constraints.

and you think that nondeterministic "try" babble is the solution.

then you say you don't use it anyway.

then what are you doing defending it in this thread?
