Fight The Future
For those that aren't familiar with him, Chaz Budnik is one of the illest(and youngest) music creators to emerge in the last few years imo. His progression and versatility is truly impressive. He emerged from the Chillwave genre but also played in a few bands or what not. Now I know he isn't Hip Hop but I see/hear sooo much potential when I listen to his music. He's very prolific, releasing tons of music and going under different names as well. Here's a beat he did for the dude formally of that hipster group "Das Racist". Simple boom bap but not bad. Below that is the 1st single off his last album, which was amazingly ill and gives you more of an idea of what I mean. And below that is a track off his first album. Again, too much stuff to go through but all of it is ill in and of itself.
I'd welcome him into the Hip Hop realm with arms wide open.
Oh and I'm not alone in this observation as Kanye twittered about his first release if I remember correctly. Anyways, enjoy.
