If someone non-black says something crazy about black people, the reaction is going to be wayyyy different than if someone black said something crazy about black people. Whether you are a part of a community dictates how out of pocket you are. That's why Ludacris and Fugees can have songs about Nappi Heads/Pussies, but Don Imus got canceled.
That's why Chris Rock can have a joke about African Americans vs nikkas and not get canceled.
That is also why a non-gay reggae group who makes a song about killing gays gets their song canceled (about 20 years after it was famous btw). It's not that hard to understand
