I'm pretty sure it was reported that the Bulls were offered a first round pick for Lonzo last year before the deadline. Instead of taking that offer, they sign Zo to a great deal, then trade him for another bust in the Patrick Williams draft that can't shoot

Lonzo ball played 35 games last year

Is always Injury prone had a major surgery and can't shoot

But the coli has him penciled in as starting alongside Mitchell and a better fit than Ty Jerome
Unloading an injury-riddled player is always a plus consciously.

The possibility of another injury no longer weighs on your mind

Jokes on the Cavs. They going to need to make a second trade for Lonzo's knees.

Nah. Itโ€™s a dumb ass move. The second year on his extension is a team option. We turned down Marcus Smart and a pick, which ended up being 18th for Zo at the deadline.

Wizards will likely flip the expiring Smart for another pick this season

Speaking of same division, Milwaukee would be a nice fit for Ty Jerome if they can afford him

I get it. Just trying to shed at least some kind of light on it.

This was actually a good trade for the Cavs.

If Lonzo can stay healthy, I could see his impact in terms of what he brings to Cleveland being similar to what Caruso brought for OKC, without the championship experience, obviously but his playmaking and defense could be beneficial.

This is an upgrade in a way.
