Nah. It’s a dumb ass move. The second year on his extension is a team option. We turned down Marcus Smart and a pick, which ended up being 18th for Zo at the deadline.

Wizards will likely flip the expiring Smart for another pick this season

This was actually a good trade for the Cavs.

If Lonzo can stay healthy, I could see his impact in terms of what he brings to Cleveland being similar to what Caruso brought for OKC, without the championship experience, obviously but his playmaking and defense could be beneficial.

This is an upgrade in a way.
