It’s a beautiful city with cool neighborhoods and great arts & culture.
Sad that many only think of it as a violent hellscape.
Chicago is one of the top cities in the world but inequality is VERY pronounced in the north east and Midwest.
A lot of these bangers are the descendants of people from Florida, Louisiana and Texas - all states with strong gun cultures.
I used to care about stuff like this but I can’t anymore. Ironically enough, if you embrace that level of thought for long enough, eventually you end up caring when this kind of plague shows up at your doorstep.
