His mom did it for selfish reasons.

She’s hoping folks will give her a pat on the back. it’s a form of inferiority complex. “I’m gonna show these white people we’re not all bad. Everyone will see me as a great mom.”
What an idiot.

this inferiority complex is what compelled a sitting black judge to hug a cop convicted of shooting a dude in his own apartment.

Dude committed a armed robbery of a working man as a adult. That other shyt u talmbout has nothing to do with this at all

I wouldn’t have turned my son in. It’d be hypocritical, I used to steal things (really up until graduating from undergrad). He already knows because I’ve told him about it.

Although armed robbery is crazy. he would’ve received a punishment from me, just one that wouldn’t have involved taking him to the police station. I’d also question him for his stupidity—why commit robbery for only $100 worth? Like you willing to go to jail for that?

Crazy how far people go to excuse this shyt, nobody ever cares about the black victims of all these crimes

Some folks in the community somehow always coddle the criminals and degenerates and not the working class "squares". Dude had no business robbing folks, i have no sympathy for robbers especially the ones that prey on their own community.

A mom should never snitch on her son

I would deal with it when he come home

if you or someone else told fine, but ya own mom?:francis:

no loyalty, no trust, she woulda sold the nikka out to the slave catchers in my mind.:yeshrug:
There is a moral conundrum here. I love my children enough to kill or die for them. But when it comes down to matters of the spirit, there is no compromise. If I raised them correctly then they understand the consequences and unfair treatment that they may get from this system. Robbery is a serious crime that can carry a life sentence. I take it as serious disrespect and disregard of my bloodline to engage in such crimes. There is a reason that I've never committed certain crimes. Talk to you on holidays. But don't go thinking I'm accepting your calls just because you are homesick or need a shoulder to cry on. I already gave you all of that.

Albeit I haven’t read through the entire thread but I see people trying to shift the argument to “people excusing the robber” instead of the actual premise of the thread which is “Would you tell the cops it was your kid if they didn’t know who did it”.

U really need to be careful when u deal with the outside world. Learn to analyze instead of taking things at face value.

you have a black mother turning in her own son to the police. In the United States of America. For what?

Is she unaware of the many ramifications that can result from that? Or maybe she’s at fault for raising a kid who actually had the will power to follow through on the thought process of robbing people.

No matter how u look at this, the mother is at the very least guilty of being stupid. But then it makes sense. Someone that would see it fit to drag her own son to the police suggest there are many other areas of life she lacks common sense.
