I've always heard that Wrigley Field is in a racist part of town. Is that true?

I mean, generally speaking, youre pretty much dead on I'd say.

Of course they're are plenty of people who buck both trends but I wouldnt hate on them for doing it.

It really comes down to the neighborhoods. I dont think there is a huge distinction between the 'real' fans, but Wrigleyville is pretty much the epicenter of yupiness and that frat boy like feel you mentioned. Alot of what you percieve to be Cubs fans are really just there for the party and the neighborhood moreso than the team. Obviously, they end up clinging to the team though.

Yeah, that perception is pretty much truth though.

So how you rep perennial losers like the Cubs when you got the White Sox in your backyard? :usure:

Explain that Mister South Side :skip:

I was originally a white sox fan my favorite local players of all time are Frank Thomas and Robin Ventura. I dont know what made me switch. It was so odd seeing them win a title because I hate them yet I was proud that they won:yeshrug: because I use to stay 30 minutes away from there until the mid nineties.
