There's really nothing to examine here. The list is totally totally off base etc..

Now Wayne almost singlehandedly created the thing people are calling Rap in 2018.

All that trap/sing songy shyt is 100% Wayne's creation (not that he INVENTED any of the components but he heralded this current age and cats like Future are just straight up biting his style).

So in that sense I give Wayne all the credit in the world for all the laps he put in. About 3638999 to date.

Still doesn't make Wayne top 4 of all time.

Kanye and Drake are even further away from top 4. If I have to choose I go with Drake just cause he still makes coherent songs. Ye did okay with his run but the whole 'losing his mind' thing just tarnishes the rest.

Keef.

Is not top 40

I almost want to say I can maybe pick 400 better rappers but I don't have that kind of time.

You would be hard pressed to find more skilled rappers than Kanye, Wayne and Drake

I'd take Drake off and put Gucci there. That would be perfect.

Kanye: 808s and Heartbreaks birthed the majority of rap music that is moving right now

Wayne: You can't deny his impact or his run. I don't like Wayne's music overall, btw, but the influence is undeniable

Chief Keef: He birthed the "mumble rap" shyt

Gucci: Has had his hand in just about every big movement or artist from Atlanta
Lil Wayne codiene rambling on t-pains can’t believe it was really the birth of mumble rap

In terms of who actually influenced the current sound and swagger and shaped this generation he's almost on point. He's missing Basedgod.
He should've been real and replace that fakkit Canadian with lil b

If all four died, the world of rap would continue as if nothing had happened. Wayne would be missed, but he's such a junkie now everyone expects the news of his death anytime now.
